Ah what the hell; let's go for it. Daughter Mira (20 going on 27) recently
phoned in (collect, of course) to inform Mom and Dad that she has won a $5,000
international scholarship to study Germqan Language and Civilization at the
University of Heidelberg and the Goethe Institut in Berlin. (And let it be
known that ... wait for it ... the funding is in *Canadian* currency! Ooooh.)
Congrats to you and Ondine, Mike, and whomever else was involved in developing
her artistic talents.
