Hi, Andy,
I have not figured that one out, either...<wry look> I think they think the
world is out to get them. So, "the Universe"? All I know is that it is
NOT Bush or his administration (in their opinion).

I'm just the messenger, remember.

Lots of them have family members in nursing homes/long-term care facilities.
I had a meeting on Thursday with a person who is a member of the National
Hospice Association (we are going to be doing some workshops in conjunction
with her organization on writing/getting notarized advanced directives)--she
was talking about how the talk is that not only is Medicaid being reduced, but
Medicaire [which provides for many residents in long-term care
facilities--and, in fact, you cannot qualify for that unless your assets have
been gone for
about three years [I think]] I'm sure it will be that nebulous 'world is
out to get me' when their grandmothers are put onto the street. (and, most
of the for-profit [esp] facilities won't have a qualm doing that--)

And, the point is not so much that the Gates Foundation put up 10 million
dollars--but that the not-for-profit drug company even exists at all.

Thinking about the new DNA testing you can have done regarding your ancestry
(it's a genealogy thing and I'll meet some people tomorrow who have either
had it done or who are involved in this new venture),
