1. You're getting hysterical

2. Most murders here are domestic murders, I thought the US was different.

I haven't seen the 25 times statistic. How many times are we more likely to
be murdered than in Britain?

Yeah, your Canadian murder statistic is down because all our timid draft
dodgers moved to Canada. Maybe you should send some of them to Britain.

By the way, does the U.S. count it a murder if a home owner shoots an
assailant?

But factor in Andreas statistic that most murders are between spouses and you
might be less likely to be murdered in the U.S. than in Britain if you didn't
let your murderous spouse own a gun.

25 times Lawrence? Don't tell me there are 24 times as many 'homicides' in
Canada as are being reported as murders. Come on now.

But here is an older article apparently by a British Doctor deploring the
situation in Britain. Would you really rather live there than in the U.S.?
Assuming of course this doctor wasnt hallucinating.

  Interesting article. Not surprising really.

In any case, in answer to your question, I wouldn't like to live in the US or
England -- that's why I don't. But given the choice, I'd go to England. It'd be
a cultural thing, not a safety issue.
