A friend of my step-daughters when she was in jr. high school was unfamiliar
with the word Holocaust. My husband was dining with their family and was
asked about his religion. He said he was a Jew. The child said, "I thought

killed all of you".

I was telling an anecdote about Winston Churchill to a friend who is in her
20s. She said
"Winson who?"
She had heard the name, vaguely, but didn't know who he had ever been.
