You know, I'm well aware that things change over time and that people grow
up with different things. When people tell me they had something when they
were "growing up" that I didn't have when I was "growing up," it doesn't
shock me in the least, in fact, it think it's neat. I like learning about
these things. But okay, I'll humour you. Let's see...
How many do you remember?
Head lights dimmer switches on the floor. NO
Ignition switches on the dashboard. NO
Heaters mounted on the inside of the fire wall. NO
Real ice boxes. NO
Pant leg clips for bicycles without chain guards. YES (they still have
those)
Soldering irons you heat on a gas burner. NO

finger")
