Well, in his conceptual analysis of "free," Grice dwelt on the implicatures of
the dialogue:
A: Do you want some alcohol-free wine?
B: No, thanks.
Grice argues that A's utterance does not ENTAIL he believes alcohol-free wine a
contradictio in terms, but "merely implicates it".
