What on earth happened to that country anyway? Seems to me it was just here.
I visited an exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society today on J.F.K. Maybe
that should be Saint J.F.K. ; it was mostly signed and framed relics, or things
that the man had been near. But like many a show, serveral things were worth
the price of admission. Seeing the report card from his school with C- for
public speaking. Seeing the watercolor painting he made while recuperating
from surgery. Quite the distance even from Eisenhower in terms of technique.
And the letter he sent Eisenhower to thank him for a smooth transition. It was
genuinely cordial.
Remember when the U.S. had presidents who quoted Latin in their speeches and,
though they murdered German, had goodness in their hearts?
