60 Minutes says global warming will be a problem in 100 years.  That's a
shocking thing to say given that the polar caps are melting now.  Some
experts say we have to reverse course within the decade or it will be too
late.  The likelihood of that happening is slim to none.  Al Gore was
ridiculed when he wrote in his book that the internal combustion engine is
the biggest threat in the history of mankind, or words to that effect.  I
wonder if that still sounds ridiculous.  Global warming is also abetted by
the extreme and permanent destruction of the rainforests, to be obliterated
within 40 years. Trees absorb CO2.  It's amazing how uninformed the
populace is about this subject.  If they knew, I wonder if they'd care.
