There are forms of violence that are, in their
motivation and/or in the means of their execution,
quite rational. My impression of people experienced in
fighting, of whom I knew quite a few and fought a
couple, is that they feel anger but have ways to
control it as it were to serve their purposes.
Similarly, I doubt that the experienced soldier is
beside himself in a shooting.
