What a way to start a morning. I think I'll just go back into my room and
take my morning nap now......

The generational divide is gaping. My daughter is staying with her
Grandparents for a little; she tested into an honors Math class this year (8th
grade)
and a special TI calculator is required, to the tune of $120. It has data
storage, graphing capabilities, and all kinds of stuff I'm clueless about. I
told her just not to ask me for help with her homework. Grandpa says, "What
does she need a calculator for? Did she forget her multiplication tables?".
 <sigh>
