We are pleased to announce a one year position for a Fisheries Scientist at The
National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) in association
with UCSB. The successful candidate will work directly with The Nature
Conservancy (TNC) Global Fisheries Team.
The candidate will work with a diverse group of scientists and practitioners
affiliated with FishPath, a decision support tool for fisheries management
developed through a Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP) working
group. The candidate will be expected to travel up to 33% time working with TNC
Field Programs in Peru, Mexico and additional countries. An extension for a
second year is possible, pending available funding.
The successful candidate will be experienced in fisheries science, including
stock assessment and population dynamics.
