In relation to our new SeaSalar-project (ocean ecology of Atlantic salmon,
following in the footstep of the Salmotrack-project), NINA have now
announced a new position, either a PhD or a Postdoc, depending on the
skills of the applicant. They have also announced another position also

At NINA (Trondheim, Norway), we have two open positions on quantitative
ecology and evolution of salmon.
*PhD student or Postdoctoral fellow on sea survival*
This position is connected to the RCN funded project “ATLANTIC SALMON AT
SEA – factors affecting their growth and survival” with Eva Thorstad as PI.
*Postdoctoral fellow on eco-evolutionary dynamics modelling*
This position is connected to the RCN funded project “The effect of
life-history genes on eco-evolutionary dynamics (EcoEvoGene)” with Geir H.
Bolstad as PI.
The two successful candidates will work in close collaboration.
