Swiss National Science Foundation)
HistoRiCH project: “Historical river change – Planning for the future by
exploring the mapped past”
The HistoRiCH project aims at extracting, analyzing and utilizing hydrological
features from historical maps in the context of practical freshwater
management. This interdisciplinary effort will be carried out by the Institute
of Cartography and Geoinformation (IKG) of ETH Zurich, the Geoinformatics and
Ecohydrology groups of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the
River Restoration group of Eawag.
The consortium is currently hiring for 1 Postdoc and 2 PhD positions. Please
