Assunto: FW: Professor positions at the CEBIMar/USP
** Please help us spread the word **
A tenure-track faculty position in Marine Benthic Ecology is now opened at the
USP Center for Marine Biology (São Paulo State, Brazil). Applications will be
accepted from March 16 to August 13th and can be completed online at
https://uspdigital.usp.br/gr/admissao. This is in Portuguese, though, but any ;
potential candidates are encouraged to write to
cebimar@xxxxxx<mailto:cebimar@xxxxxx> for help.
Two important issues:
A validation of the PhD degree in a Brazilian institution, at the time of
application, is mandatory. This can take long so potential candidates should
hurry. Processing times vary substantially among universities; the staff at the
CEBIMar/USP had prospected the issue at some extent and would be happy to share
with candidates their experience
(academicacbm@xxxxxx<mailto:academicacbm@xxxxxx>).
Any applicants not fluent in Portuguese can communicate in English through all
stages of the selection process. The selected candidate should certify
Portuguese proficiency in 2-years time.
The full call, in Portuguese, is sent attached (highlighted in yellow). Any
questions can be addressed to cebimar@xxxxxx<mailto:cebimar@xxxxxx>.
Again, many thanks for your attention.
Best regards.
