Si, è accaduto: peccato che lo scrittore non abbia precisato le
circostanze che hanno permesso la cosa; qualcuno è riuscito a
intrufolarsi nel meccanismo di trasposizione_ da BitKeeper a CVS dei
sorgenti ufficiali, che *sono* quelli sotto BK.
Linus ha affermato che non c'è motivo di allarme, per la modalità di
applicazione delle patch proposte:

E peccato anche non sottolinei quanto sia subdolo il C, in questo...
GvR ha azzeccato anche quello, quando si è opposto a chi voleva
introdurre questo "idioma familiare", vale a dire rendere possibile
l'assegnazione nella condizione dell'if, nel Python... :)
