[Linuxtrent] mol e networking

Ciao a quelli che usano mol (per cui possessori di ppc) ma a chiunque abbia una risposta (si accettano anche suggerimenti), riuscite a collegarvi in rete?

Io faccio partire mol (da utente, ovviamente) (osx) su kernel
2.6.12, su una debian testing, va tutto bene, mi riconosce qualcosa (mouse, video, audio, ma non la batteria e non airport) e sembra che mi riconosca pure la scheda eternet, infatti se vado su propiretà-network in mac ho un adattatore eternet (en4) attivo con indirizzo ip e tutto, ossia la schermata mi dice che sono collegato a internet.

Il problema sta che nè con browser ne con ping riesco ad andare in interet. Non riesco neppure a pingare il router o l'ip di linux (che poi è la stessa interfaccia), cose che la documentazione di mol dice dovrei riuscire a fare senza problemi.
La situazione è questa:

ip              192.168.1.3     192.168.1.4
netmask         255.255.255.0   255.255.255.0
gw              192.168.1.1     192.168.1.1


se pingo dentro la rete mi dice "host is down" (per esempio 192.168.1.1
o ...1.3
se pingo google mi dice unknown host
se pingo l'ip di google mi dice no route to host

io mi collego fisicamente ad un router che è appunto 192.168.1.1
