Certo, frasi come "Intel's Medfield Still A Botched Binary Mess Under
Linux?" e "Intel Is Planning To Drop PowerVR Graphics" non
fanno pensare bene, e il fatto che Zotac abbia preferito affiancare al D2700 una
sezione grafica Nvidia è abbastanza indicativo.
Ma tutto dovrebbe cambiare con il supporto a SandyBridge; vedremo.
Senza dubbio Phoronix lo sponsorizza molto:

Le schede madri basate su questa piattaforma iniziano ad essere
veramente molte, anche nella dimensione mini-itx. C'è anche il non
trascurabile vantaggio
di poter scegliere la CPU, e di disporre di almeno uno slot PCIe x16;
molta flessibilità in più insomma, rispetto alle soluzioni "stile
Atom".
