I'll let you know how mine comes out too. Ok, the whole thing went pretty smoothly, once I was reading the right HOWTO and was downloading the right kernel patches. :) 1. Pick up the current HOWTO from the mirrors. They're now describing raidtools v0.90, which is what will be distributed in/with/for kernel 2.4.x. 2. Get the patches for your kernel (you better be running 2.2.16 anyway) from http://people.redhat.com/mingo/raid-patches. 3. Configure in support for your raid level and the automatic kernel selecting of raid partitions. 4. Run fdisk and change the partition types to autodetect raid (note: I threw this part in myself. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but it's how the redhat box came from dell...) 5. Read the howto on how to do the rest.
