Oh, and btw, here's my lilo.conf modified to suit your immediate need.  
There's really no reason to switch drives around...


boot = /dev/hda
message = /boot/boot_message.txt
prompt
timeout = 400
lba32
vga = normal

image = /boot/bzImage
root = /dev/hda2
label = Linux
append="hdc=ide-scsi sb=0x220,5,1,5"
read-only

other = /dev/hdb1
  label = DOS
  table = /dev/hda
