You can check the archives page to see if your message has been posted.

If you include quoted copies of email you send, try to remember to delete any 
email addresses included from the quoted copy. Subscribers see all other 
subscribers email addresses, but the archiver software masks out the addresses 
in the "from" and "to" headers to keep spammers from mining the archives for 
email addresses. The archiver software does not mask addresses in the body text 
of messages, so quoted replies bypass the masking function.

I am guilty of this, when I quoted Roberto Verzola's welcome letter, and now he 
is going to be beseiged with adverts to increase his penis and breast sizes.

Let's try to keep the spammers ignorant, if we can remember to do that...
