Syllables are very important in UEB. I have a table of over 160,000 English
words broken by syllable if we need it.

In the case of "reverse", one must also consider related words like "reversed"
(should use "ed"), "reverser" (should use "er"), and "reversible" (doesn't have
the second "e"). In other words, striclty speaking, the syllable isn't always
"verse" in this case.
