I certainly agree with you. I have had quite a few users complaining about
the Danish tables and how they generate faulty Braille (all in NVDA).
It impacts many other languages as well. Probably even, now, UEB to a fair
degree.
Once the cursor position issue has been fixed, which I hope it will be very
soon, I think the pass1Only flag should be deprecated, or at least it should
be stated clearly in the documentation that the flag is for debugging
purposes only.
In my opinion it should be commented as being extremely dangerous and should
never be used. It's mere use should, to me, trigger a very ugly compile-time
warning.
I wasted a lot of my time trying to help someone figure out why his table
wouldn't work in NVDA, only to discover that it was the pass1only flag.
