Hello dear list members,
I am a blind Persian-speaking computer user. For sometimes I am
thinking of adding Persian language to braille input tables. I also
studied LibLouis userguide. But I do not understand how to do it.
In Braille tables, there is an Arabic table called ar-ar-g1.utb. Mr
BaniSaeed (in 2011) added Persian letters which not included in the
Arabic table in a file called ar-fa.utb, and inserted the Arabic table
as the rest of the Farsi Braille table. But some of the Persian
symbles in Braille have conflicts with the Arabic signs.
I combined the contents of ar-ar-g1.utb and ar-fa.utb and corrected
the conflicts and named my file, fa-ir.utb.
Now I have two questions which I hope one of you Graciously answer them:
1. How can I replace the abovementioned table with the old one into
Liblouis package?
2. How should I modify the file for use as Braille input? I mean
everyone that uses any software which uses Liblouis as its Braille
engine, can type Farsi using Braille keys.
I'll be very glad if you can help me.
