Arend,

Veel bedankt!

At last! An explanation. So I can safely ignore the countries.cti file, then.
That's oen out fo the way!

Because no one else does, I will try to clarify the use of the file
countries.cti a bit.

It is used in a few tables and is presumably meant to avoid that contraction
rules are applied to country extensions, particularly in urls. So it has
nothing to do with languages such as in the table names.

Christian,

I am unable to find a download for Liblouis! I have the latest Brailleblaster
and it includes Liblouis but I cannot be sure that it has the latest Libluois
release.

The Irish files are not in Liblouis in the current release of Braillebalster.
The date on the included Liblouis folder is given as today, the day of the
download) so I cannot be sure what release of Liblouis is bundled with
brailleblaster.

Is it possible to download Liblouis itself? I tried a Google search but I get a
page not found error. I cannot find any download facility in
http://liblouis.org/

Sorry, I was busy with the release. We'd be happy to have your tables. I see
that there are already Irish tables maintained by Ronan McGuirk,
<ronan.p.mcguirk@xxxxxxxxx> (see
https://github.com/liblouis/liblouis/blob/master/tables/ga-g1.utb and
https://github.com/liblouis/liblouis/blob/master/tables/ga-g2.ctb). Can you
look at them and take up any improvements with Ronan?

Once you have the new tables you can send them to this list or even better open
a pull request on github.
I propose the following three files:
1. countries.cti (modified to add "compbrl .ga Ireland" to include
Ireland)
.ga seems to be used for Gabon. countries.cti contains .ie for Ireland.
Is that wrong?
2. ga-ga-g1.utb2
3. ga-ga-g2.ctb

What about the xml structures? Do I need to provide an extra set of
xml data to the English configuration table in liblouisxml?
I'm not too knowledgeable about liblouisxml. Which xml are you talking about?
