Hello. We, at APH, are including this in BrailleBlaster using LibLouis. So far
we've updated the tables for UEB to include math. Our approach depends on a
specialized string, taken from John Gardner's Lean Math editor, to produce a
string from MathML that LibLouis can then translate either to UEB or Nemeth.
We'd be happy to share what we are doing as our intention is to make it public.

Subject: [liblouis-liblouisxml] MathML to UEB Math
Good morning,
I am doing some preliminary research surrounding the conversion of MathML to
UEB, and am wondering:
1. Is any part of this within the scope of what liblouis/liblouisxml can
already do? I have used liblouis for text translation but never for math, and
am not sure whether MathML is supported as an import format or whether any work
has been done on UEB math output.
2. If not, and there is anyone on the list who is interested in this, or has
good working knowledge of MathML, I'd love to talk to you. There may be an
opportunity for some paid work here, though I anticipate the result will be
open source and contributed back to the community.
Regards,
Anthony Tibbs
