Hi Bue,

I don't know how relevant this information is to the problem of concern but the
braille translation of your example is wrong.. EBAE
does not have an automatic end to caps. According to its Rule 11.a an explicit termination sign is used
to end caps or other partial emphasis in a word. This sign is dots 6,3. It is usually placed before a
any hyphen. Also partially-emphasized words must be translated to braille without
contractions. The correct translation of USB-cable is thus
,,usb,'-cable

Note that the termination sign is to be listed on the special symbols page.

As previously mentioned, UEB has an automatic end to caps when its word caps indicator is
used but not when its phrase caps indicator is used.
