liblouis and liblouisutdml are working in Windows in BrailleBlaster and
ODT2Braille . I hope Michael has solved his problem by now. If not
others at ViewPlus have gotten the libraries to work in OpenOffice. Line
4599 in compileTranslationTable.c is correct.

What I usually do is to look at the code to see what it really does. The
code in liblouis/liblouis/compileTranslationTable.c has some weird
#ifdef _WIN32 in it that seem to be searching in specific directories. I
have never looked at this too closely but there is an (obvious) typo in
there that seems to indicate that not all of this code works (at least
on windows). For the typo look at line 4599 of compileTranslationTable.c
where it says 'strcat (trialPath, "\\share\\liblouss\\tables\\");'. I
don't think this can be right.
Just try to make sense of the findTable function in
compileTranslationTable.c. If you think there is anything that can be
improved in the code or in the documentation please let us know.
