Just a out of the box suggestion which is probably mad or just
missing the point! Using regex pre-process the input and markup the
english or greek which ever is easiest and switch tables on that
markup.
That isn't a choice because this is specific to how braille works in Greek so
it needs to be defined within the Greek table (that I'm writing and am almost
finished).
