I'm curious. Is compiling liblouis with C++ a requirement or just a theoretical
exercise? It's C code - not C++ code - so what's the actual use case for
compiling it with C++? Put a different way, what'd be the justification for
compromising the C code in order to satisfy C++ restrictions, especially when
those restrictions impose poorer coding practices?
