We have a couple of 55” and a 70” and have had the same experience. The novelty
of a touch screen wares of quickly and no one actually seems to use it.
That said the Dell hardware is great, pairs well with their Optiplex Micro FF
PC’s and hasn’t given us any issues other than being on the heavy side for
standard TV mounts and stands.

HI Dumindu
We installed a 70” touch screen in our chambers in 2019.
I would not install another touch screen for the following reasons
* The screen is covered in fingerprints
* People do not expect the screen to be touch. They often touch it during
presentations then get quite confused trying to find their place in the
presentation again.
* We have been asked on several occasions to turn off the touch
functionality
* I have not witnessed anyone intentionally using the touch functionality
(aside from IT staff)

Subject: lg-it Windows based touchscreens for conference rooms
Hi All
I want to get some opinions/reviews on systems other Councils use.
We want to deploy windows-based touchscreens (55”,65”,70”) for our conference
rooms.
We are thinking of going with Dell Interactive Touch Monitors, does any other
Councils use these?
