Hi Nathan,

We used Links from 2019-2021 (although most usage in 2019 because covid). They
might have changed now, but at the time their solution was an RDP shortcut to
their terminal server which hosted their software. We had a world of issues
with EFTPOS and Printer drivers randomly not passing through to the RDP
session. We were either on a lesser licence, or it wasn’t very feature rich as
we had a concoction of other solutions for staff rostering and things like
that. We had incident/support requests for issues come through the service desk
at least once a fortnight that usually required us to attend the site and
troubleshoot issues while on the phone to Links or PCEftpos (now Linkly).

In 2021 we moved to Envibe which is cloud hosted (https) with a local driver
component. I don’t think we’ve actually fielded any incidents or requests other
than installation since we moved to it – which has to be a good sign. My
understanding is that it has a lot more features that we’re utilising. I’d say
it’s definitely worth a look.

Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone could recommend a POS solution for Swimming Pools? Looking
for something with the usual POS capabilities inc. stock control and the
ability to track and issue season passes across all 7 of our pools (including
how often they are being used and where).
