Cowra Council has just finished a project to migrate 4 websites to OpenCities 
earlier this year.

As others have stated, the hardest issue is determining what content from your 
existing website will migrate across to the new site, what needs updating and 
what needs to be archived. If you have any statistics from your old website use 
those to determine what needs to move across and what your residents have never 
enquired about (other than items that are mandated to be on your website).

The OpenCities team are great with helping out, but the data migration will be 
left to your Council to arrange. It seems like an easy task but is one of the 
hardest and time consuming as only your Council will know your data and what 
information your residents are enquiring about.

Has anyone used open cities to design their council website? We are currently 
in the process of trying to find a good website developer and have stumbled
