Hello LG-ers,
As my organisation plans for WA opening our borders and the associated COVID
chaos, I'm investigating options for 3rd party printing\enveloping and mailing.
Let me explain...
Currently staff working from home will request our Contact Centre to print
items, envelope and mail out. This can involve smaller bulk mailouts (noting we
use 3rdparty vendor Zipform for rates and other very large mailouts).
The other issue we face is Return to Sender mail, currently this is left for
the IM team to mop up and be very substantial numbers in some cases - I would
like a service where the return mail item is sent back to the originator to
rectify the situation.
The solution would also assist in a BCP sense, should say the admin building be
unavailable to staff for an extended period.
I know of one vendor Bingmail - which could possibly solve our issue...
https://www.bingmail.com.au/
So I'm wondering how other Councils are, or intend to, deal with sending mail
in a lockdown\business continuity sense? Or even just to reduce the resourcing
overhead of mail\printing?
