All: I was profoundly affected by one of Steve's images, posted today. I wrote him, off list, and re-send the message now, with his kind permission. The light in Brosis and the posture in Fred are terrific! But is was the idea of making the book, for and of Domi, that literally brought me to tears. What a wonderful idea! I remember writing a long letter, to the folks at the rehabilitation center in which I'd enrolled my "Dutch Uncle", Mel, in his last year. I needed not only to thank them, but to tell them what a wonderful man he'd been, rather than the irascible curmudgeon he'd become, by the time they saw him. Such a book lets staff, visitors and, perhaps, even Domi, know her in her younger years. I imagine that creating it was probably difficult, but also good, for you, as well. It is a use of Blurb books that I'd never have thought of. And, perhaps, one of the best. Good on you. with my best regards, David. -- David Young - Photographer Logan Lake, CANADA Wildlife: www.furnfeather.net Personal: www.main.furnfeather.net A micro-lender through www.Kiva.org. ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
