A few years back I sold some framed photos, of the albinistic red neck grebes that I found, to an ornithologist. He told me that he'd studied grebes, as a speciatly, for 30 years and never seen such a bird! So, if I'm right, you are a lucky man, indeed! Sadly, such birds (an animals) suffer a much higher mortality rate, for they lack the colour meant to camouflage them, when it's needed.
