Hi Aram,

it freezes quite well, we've often had asparagus over Christmas.

Cheers
Douglas

Hi Philippe,

unfortunately, the "Spargel" season is over around here - it started very early after the mild winter.

We've had it "Classical" with smoked ham and Hollandaise, with "Schnitzel" and a creamy sauce with a dash of lime juice, with shrimps and with scrambled eggs.

All, of course, with melted butter and fresh parsley and chives from the garden.

A very good year for it, much less bitter than last year.

Best
Douglas

I had spotted the three garages, but this one escaped my late Spring leisurely vigilance ;-)

Amities de Mutz where we've just had asparagus again tonight, with home made mayonnaise if you please, yum to the square :-)
