G''Mornin' Richard!
I suspect you are right. Planned obsolescence has great value, even for
Rolls-Royce!
David.
My baseless guess is Leica has found out there's greater retail sales value
in putting a new number after the M (M3-M5-M6-M8-M9) than there is in just
having the M always hanging there all alone. That's my guess anyways.
Sincerely,
Richard.

Some time ago, Leica announced that they would no longer have "numbers"

So, why is it that Mirrorless Rumours, and other sites are saying "Leica M10
will be announced in mid January." In the case of the M-10, it is a type
3656.
Does anyone know about the change, and why? Was labeling them all as "M"s
a marketing flop? Curious minds want to know!
David.
