Shooters buying $40,000 + kits don't wait and see. They making hard choices each and every day between: Hasselbad PhaseOne Leaf Leica Sinar, etc. Whatever the number of shooters around the world in that league Leica will only get a small percentage of them. The S2 appears to be a viable contender; virtually owning a small niche (a large sensor in a small package). Yet PhaseOne and Hasselblad have upped the anti, since the S2 was announced, now offering 65+ megapixel; and Leica can't compete there.
