It is clear that the R-10 is long way form being released to the market.
I have had private exchanges with several Leica figures who would
know more; all were pessimistic One of them made a key observation: if
indeed the R-10 and accessories were scheduled to go on sale soon,
and compatibility with older lenses was to be a selling point, why
dump all remaining stocks of older R lenses on eBay? To this person
it was a sign that the R system in its current form is dead.
