Hello All, I finally re-figured out how to link from flickr! Therefore here are some samples of the Red Halo issue I'm coping with. The more I think about this Pink Fringe/Red Halo problem the more I wonder about the real cause of it being my 90mm Elmarit. First Image shows the maximum extent of the Red Halo running the length of highlight on the pitchers uniform. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeissfan/7362499930/ (It is a crop made from unsharpened image in Lightroom at 1:1 magnification.) Second shows how much less it is on a non-white uniform, but still there. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeissfan/7177276049/ (cropped from a Sharpened image - Lightroom and 1:1) Third is of a Backlit Bat Boy with NO red halo or pink fringing at all on the highlights? http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeissfan/7177275971/ Is this a false color issue generated by the sensor when the grass is in focus near highlights? Is it a function of having a hard left to right light causing the color while a backlit shot doesn't? HELP ________________________________ A man is not idle because he is absorbed in thought.
