Hi David!
the second is exceptional, for my EU eyes at least :-)
As to the first one I was wondering if less contrast would work - no time for
me tonight to try my luck out in LR as we’re leaving for SA tomorrow …
I think the shadows are somewhat blocked (I understand the technical
constraints i.e. snow, and DR,, but they might be alleviated in post).
Keep shooting and sharing dear David
Amities to both of you.

By now, you're probably growing tired of my Ice Racing photos.
But, I have two more from Jan. 27th, which I've just got 'round to developing
and which I hope you'll like.

and a conundrum .... While they were plowing the track, and everybody was
taking a break, what looked like a commercial aircraft flew over, which then
- or so it appeared - flushed its toilet!
I don't think they can even do that ... so the question is, what is it?
By the time I grabbed my camera, the plane was out of view, and I've darkened
the sky to more clearly show the ice crystals.

Can anyone tell me what is going on, here?
Comments welcomed.
David.
