Good morning to everyone. We're a month or two away from harvesting the------
Valencia orange crop down here, and I thought that y'all might find a
couple of images of the crop interesting. Briefly, the Valencia crop is
one of the few ag crops that need more than a year to mature before
harvesting; and that makes it particularily vulnerable to weather as it
has to get through what we call winter down here - particularily the
"Alberta Clipper" cold-fronts that occasionally rip down across the
continent. These images are from 2019, last year's crop, and we'll be
picking this year the little nibs of green that appear under the flowers
in the images from last year.
