Hi, Philippe !

Don't worry about digital laziness ;-)
I got the D3 in June, enough time to check it's an easy tool, but far away from
the R 6.2 quality.
I shall still use it meanwhile Leica thinks with another (better) digital gear,
able to work with the R lenses I got...

Thanks for your kind words. Pictures as the Doug's ones are a sitmulus for all
of us.
His attentive look and bright results only can encourage to have a try (I
wouldn't go so far !)
Cheers, et bonne journée,
Marc

The gear seems to work well and the apo telyt has a crisp snap at birds in
flight I'd say.
I also love the duck gathering (nb 4 ?)

I've been thinking of Doug ever since I saw one of his birds - stealthy Doug
is a master you're perfectly right, and for me (self) impossible to match.
Which doesn't prevent us from trying, and improving along the way.
Getting nearer to the birds seems to be the really hardest part :-D

Thanks for sharing Marc, very pleasant shots in any case.
Don't turn as digitally lazy with the D3 as I have with the L1 and Rs - keep
the R6 at hand. ;-)

This morning, I had a walk to a small river mouth, not too far from home.
I just wanted to try some R lenses with the D3: Cron 50, Macro 100 and
Telyt 180.
But I found there more life than I thought... and couldn't avoid to think
with the Birdman of Sacramento ;-)

Doug, I'll probably never watch wild birds without remember your wonderful
pictures...
and I'm just beginning to realize how difficult it has to be !
