A horse may buck you off, but 99.997 times out of hundred, it will then run away. The horse that will turn and "hunt" a rider that it has thrown, is rare. Bulls & steers, on the other hand, will frequently chase the person they've thrown, often doing significant damage to the rider. Here's a young rider being thrown from his steer, at our Labour Day rodeo... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Bull-1.html and two shots showing how the bull will turn on you. http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Bull-2.html http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Bull-3.html Time between the first and last shot... 1.36 seconds.
