Apparently, back in February, Ricoh announced announced a new module for
their GXR camera.  It is to be an APS-C sized, 12.9mp  sensor with
integral
focal plane shutter, and made to take Leica M lenses. Â If used with an "R"
to "M" adapter, this could be an alternative route for "R" users, wishing
to use their glass with a digital body.

It certainly has possibilities but since theres's no auto-diaphragm
function when using this solution I don't see that it has much advantage
over adapting R lenses to CaNikon, Sony or Pentax DLSR bodies.
