As mentioned, last week, Rose and I were in the US of A this last weekend, to watch our great-nieces compete in some Horse Trials at the Whidbey Island (Wa), Pony Club. The meet was far bigger than I expected, with some 400+ rigs there, from Texas, Montana, Wyoming, BC & Alaska, as well as many from Washington & Oregon. Given that most people bring between 2 & 4 horses, you'll understand the scope of the event. I've never done this type of photography, before, but it was a revelation. Nothing is fenced off, and people wander about the course, trying to avoid the racing horses that gallop through the fields every couple of minutes! As I work through the images, I should have several to show... here's the first... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/WIPC-1.html C&C welcomed, as always.
