Wow. I agree with you, David, the beading of the water on the bird’s head and
the clarity of the eye, though kinda freaky, is amazing. Well done to you and
the lens! But honestly, like old folks being told about kids or grandkids who
are at a distance, what I bet we all want to see are PICTURES OF THE PUPPY! :)

This shot shows why the Pana-Leica 100-400 continues to amaze me. This shot
is roughly 10% of the frame ... the rest is just lake.
Hand held @ 400mm. Only the tiniest amount of sharpening has been applied.
The detail in the eye and the water on the head just amazes me.
