I open with a question?
"How would you feel about your uncle if you were the graduate?"
And had to face the onslaught of comments about "YOUR UNCLE?" Particularly
fellow student comments about yourself, you being his favourite NEPHEW? As well
as the re-actions of your student friends about your uncle? Even though "your
uncle shot and used the photo?"
Given today's' number of brainless ignorant morons amongst the student millions?
I'd save it for when he gets married! Given "most marriages are fun events"
other than the "shot gun ones!" The wedding card will create great accolades,
laughter and fond memories.
I write from experience dare I say. :-) When my oldest daughter married I had
a 30"X40" print made of her as a younn' sucking her thumb (my gosh I wouldn't
be surprised if she still does on occasion?" A couple of her lady friends
brought it in and walked it about the huge dining hall of the reception. What
else could she do but laugh because everyone else was laughing!
No need for an embarrassing graduation my friend and your nephew will still
love you!
