Hi George!
I'm not seeing the distortion that you are seeing. What I am seeing is the old
"converging verticals", only in this case it seems to be diverging verticals,
as the camera is being tilted down a wee bit.
Particularly noticeable in this shot of Xavier's.

Otherwise, it looks to be a very nice lens, taking some very nice shots.
I think Xavier has a winner on his hands!
David.
I loved your pictures and there appears to be little distortion. You did------
get a special deal. I guess the yellow shirts are chasing people off the
streets. Here in Korea we have protests like that only when the
presiding it to be impeached! Thanks for sharing, Sincerely, George in

Well a kind of Elmarit, it is in fzct a small Fujinin 16mm offering
the same angle of view than a 24mm
I like it, it is unobtrusinve. And it was delivered today and in the
shop they had a 10% off, promoted by Fujifilm, yipee!!! Well the
Yellow vest economic disaster has played in my favour...
On a Range finder such as the famous X Pro1, the frames are just
within the corners of the OVF, perfect match. And the lens is fun,
sharp too.
Here a few images, street photo near Bastille where I bought it, place
des Vosges.

Of course I could not do with a snack, the wide angle is for that:

Be warned that the images wit a suffix "_1" are full size, heavy to
download. for pixel peepers only !!
The loved Elmarit 24 R stayed with me from 96 till 2006, until I
swapped to another system. I missed it. I had followed the storyboard
of this Fujinon from the first rumour of its existence.
Paint me happy as a bunny ðŸ™,
