Hi Peter.
It is one helicopter (an air ambulance) in five pano panels - taken from the
patio of the Hong Kong Yacht Club - one of the best views in HK.
Glad you liked it and thanks for your memory too. Shades of Frances Ford
Coppola.

Wow! Well done, Howard. Well done, indeed! Seeing that image brings back a
memory from back in the late 1980s when I moved back to Florida from Grand
Cayman.
There was an Agricultural Crop Spraying service working here in Florida that
used retired US Army Bell Huey helicopters. The 5 pilots were the co-owners of
the service and the 5 Bell Hueys. The guys were all retired veterans who met
during the final days of the Vietnam Conflict - three US Army and two South
Vietnamese Army. When they would head off to make an application of spray
material on the larger blocks of citrus groves at the time, using all five
helicopters at once, particularly on the Orange Co block (42 square miles of
citrus) east of Arcadia in DeSoto County, they would fly in that formation - an
almost perfect line front to back - before peeling off to make their runs. The
sound and sight was at once terrifyingly awesome and beautiful - the way they
would “dance” and “pivot” was like watching a company of dancers. Man, I hadn’t
thought of them in years. Thanks for not only for your image, but for shaking
the memories loose. :)
Best regards,
Peter S.
